SERVER RULES
FS TOP GUN was designed to be a Server that everyone can use! We do it all from Free Flying, Live ATC, Flight Clubs and more !The idea behind the Server was to give people a place to fly that is fun with the freedom to do what YOU want to do! Unfortunately we have people whose idea of fun is to ruin someone else’s fun. So I had to come up with some basic rules to keep things running smoothly and make this a place that everyone can enjoy. So here we go! 1, JOINING THE GAME: If you are flying in the game you are required to be on Team Speak for this Server. You are NOT required to talk but you are required to be on. Frame Rates need to be set to 20 in your flight Simulator. If you have not changed your Frame Rates it will be on default 20.If you are behind a firewall or Router you are required to have the correct ports open for the Game. See the Router Help section of the Website for more information. 2, JOINING TEAM SPEAK: You are required to be on Team Speak to play on FS TOP GUN. You must have the same Name on Team Speak as you do in the Game. If you don’t have a Microphone or it is broken you should have the words "No Mic" next to your Player Name in Team Speak. Voice activation is not permitted. You are required to have your Microphone set Push to Talk. Flooding Channels or Talking over fellow players is not permitted. You are required to be in the right channel to match what you are doing in the Game. Read the Channel Description before you join a channel. When you’re on Team Speak you need to be aware of the ATC channels. If there is an ATC on an airport channel you are required to be on that channel if you wish to fly at that airport. 3, CONDUCT: You are required to be Courteous and Respectful to your Fellow Pilots. Foul Language is not permitted in the main Flying Channels. The following items are strictly prohibited! “Advertising” including but not limited to IP addresses, other game servers, product or services. Team Speak Recordings and crashing into other players is also strictly prohibited. 4, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL: If you are flying in a controlled area or 40 miles out from a Controlled Area you must be in the Tower channel for that Airport. Do Not Spawn in ATC Channels unless there is an ACTIVE Controller on the Channel. You will need to communicate with the Tower Controller. Yes you will need to have a working Microphone. Do not spawn on Runways! Spawn at Gates. You are required to follow Air Traffic Control commands and have a Flight Plan Filed. You are welcome to be a Controller at FS TOP GUN. If you are unregistered you will need to be trained by a Certified ATC before being allowed to control traffic at FS Top Gun. Please Visit our ATC School and Apply to be A Certified ATC at FS TOP GUN. If you make Certification the ATC instructor will assign you an official Call Sign and Administration Right. We recommend you have basic ATC knowledge before you begin Training. You must be a registered user before being issued a FSTG call sign. If you are flying with a controller you are required to have Basic Real World understanding of ATC communications and Procedures. Air Traffic control Reserves the Right to Terminate Service with you at any time. If this happens you will be required to leave Controlled Airspace immediately. If you are uncertified you may help a Certified ATC if he asked for your help. Don’t Spawn in ATC channels if there is not a controller in the Channel. ATC Service at FS TOP GUN is Professional and based of Real World Procedures. 5, TEAM SPEAK REGISTRATION: The following are the Requirements to be a registered user on Team Speak: You must first be registered with us on our Website Site. Two Registered Team Speak Users must recommend you for Registration. You need to be a User in Good Standing and a Dedicated Frequent Flyer with FS TOP GUN. Please see A Server Admin on Team Speak if you wish to Register. Finally if you have any questions please ask someone on the server. Players with a “U” next to their name are unregistered. “R” means Registered. “CA” means Channel Admin. “SA” means Server Admin. Most of all have fun!! TOP 10 REASONS WHY PLAYERS GET KICKED OR BANNED
